Per today, 03.01.2017, National Bank of Ukraine decreased the limit for legal payments in cash from 150.000 UAH to 50.000. So, payments exceeding this amounts have legally to be transfered from one bank account to another. This change came into force today by publishing the act on the homepage of the National Bank!

Update: In difference to the summary statement of the NBU the change doesn't just contain a decreased limit! While till now just notarized transactions exceeding 150.000 UAH had to be executed by bank account, the 50.000 UAH limit now will be eligible for ALL TRANSACTIONS AND NOT JUST NOTARIZED TRANSACTIONS!!!
