The president of Ukraine filed on Friday a law project which is supposed to change the Laws of Ukraine "On Banks and Banking Activity" and "On the system of guaranteeing deposits of individuals", namely, to add that "in cases where the bank acts as  attorney, agent  or representative during taking funds of individuals in favor of third parties, the bank is obliged to previously inform individuals in writing form that such funds will be not  bank deposits of physical persons, which is guarantees by the Law of Ukraine "on the system of guaranteeing deposits of individuals" .

UPDATE 16.11.2016. The law project was agreed by the Verkhovna Rada within one day at 15.11.2016 and will come into force after signature by the President of Ukraine!

And to assure depositors of Bank“Mihaylovskiy”, which signed  deposit contracts not directly with the  BANK – with financial services company the right to receive compensation from the State guarantee Fund for deposits of individuals  (actually their funds are not eligible for compensation by law "On the system of guaranteeing deposits of individuals"),  to add in the transitional provisions of the law as follows:  "funds,  which were taken by the financial institution through a bank(under the contract and  NOT LATER the date of entering into force of this Law) which is announced as being insolvent, are equal to deposit and are covered by law “On the system of guaranteeing deposits of individuals”
