According to the amendments of the law about public appeals were introduced additionally such forms of public appeals: in electronic form via the Internet and e-petitions.

When handling electronic form of appeal among other data must also be specified an electronic mail address or information about other ways to contact such person. To use the digital signature is not required.

Also is introduced a special form of collective complaints of citizens to the President of Ukraine, the Verkhovna Rada, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and local authorities - the electronic petition.

E-petition which is addressed to the President, to Verkhovna Rada, the Cabinet of Ministers WILL BE ANSWERED by them if will be supported by at least 25 000 signatures of citizens during period - not more than 3 months from the date of publication of the petition.
