Martial law - a special legal regime introduced in whole Ukraine OR in particular areas in the event of armed aggression or threat of attack, the danger of Ukraine's independence and territorial integrity. During the Martial law local authorities, the military command (the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine; command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine; units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other units which were introduced in accordance with the laws of Ukraine) receive rights to do the following main activities:

1. Take FROM PROPERTY of companies and/or individuals for defense purposes diferent objects (against financial compensation!).

2. Use the power of companies for defense purposes, change rules of their work.

3. To introduce for individuals OBLIGATION for labour or services.

4. Take for temporary use things which are necessary for needs of defense: vehicles, buildings, equipment and other objects

5. Establish a special regime of entry and exit for citizens, foreigners and stateless persons, establish restrictions of freedom of movement of citizens, foreigners and stateless persons.

6. Introduce special regime for storage facilities and other facilities for the protection of the population.

7. Mobilize for military service.

8. Organize the state material reserve.

Martial law is introduced according to the proposal of the National Security Council BY Decree of President, which has to be approved by Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine within two days (after such Decree of President of Ukraine).
