Parliament did not supported theproject of law # 2997 " bout  amendments to the Law of Ukraine" On Compulsory State Pension Insurance "regarding length of service for a pension ."  According to the current norms of the legislation , the amount of insurance experience required for the purposes of the minimum pension for men is 35 years , women - 30 years. The project would have made changes to the first part of Article 28 of the Law of Ukraine "About Compulsory State Pension Insurance", according to which the minimum old-age pension will be for men  - 30 years and women - 25 years of insurance experience.
